In celebration of Día de los Muertos 2024, Zaira Meneses makes her highly anticipated debut with The Boston Pops, performing a world premiere Danza Macabra by Leo Brouwer, Son Jarocho Medley, arranged by her high school friend Ignacio Quinto. As an ambassador of this traditional Mexican music style, Meneses brings Veracruz’s lively, soulful rhythms to Boston audiences, creating a unique fusion of classical and Son Jarocho traditions.
